3 key awesome things that happened here this week…
i got a piece in the mail from my buddy paul in jersey (also drummer of the awesome band The Banner). i fell in love with it as soon as i saw it. cant wait to get it up on the wall! check him out at www.myspace.com/snoringzombies.
i finally stopped into a place called rockstar dogs, a place ive walked by so many times before. excellent hotdogs (i enjoyed a J. Timberlake myself, my buddy kyle had a Los Lobos, since he loves his bacon) and the walls are covered in black and white 8×10 concert stills of people like billy idol, among hundreds others. girls who dance on the pole during guns n roses get a free meal.
after waiting out some rain, i hiked to a train, only to get stopped by a crowd of witches and a brass section dancing on the sidewalk. i had to walk into traffic to get around them. weird.

im still working on a handful of awesome projects that i cant expose just yet. in between those, i’ve been uber sick and stuck in bed for the majority of the past couple of days. now i’m more or less back on top of things though.
anyone else as excited for saw5 as i am?

oops i skipped one! its ok, you didnt miss anything. i spent every day hopping between computers… it was ridiculous. but anyways, this past weekend we performed with our good buddy DG. he killed it out there in indiana. i have to make note that Reggies (2109 S State, Chicago) not only has the BEST burgers, but the coolest menus… theyre record sleeves… you can check out the last photo to see what i mean.
and happy first birthday to jameson cash. wipe your face off buddy… then dig back in…

i realize i didnt post the cell phone diary this week. thats basically because i havent done anything but sit at a screen all week. i’ll be back on it with next week though, promise.

i’m wrapping up a TON of stuff for this chicago band. heres a small sample of the logo i did for them. i’m really excited to see how it all comes out in the end!

went to a killer hip hop producer battle and seminar at an awesome place in wicker park called The Bassment. check it out if you ever go through the area.
