so i’ve started playing guitar in David Costa’s band again. David is a hip hop artist from northwest Indiana, on Skeleton Crew Records. i toured with him for a while in ‘07, but he’s been solo for almost 9 months now. anyways, we’ll be opening for My Chemical Romance and Billy Talent here in Chicago on April 17 and 18, and we’ll be playing The Bamboozle at Giants Stadium in NJ on May 4th. so that being said, here’s a new tee design for Costa, and go buy tix to those shows. its my blog, i’m allowed to shamelessly self-promote. isnt that the point??

one of my favorite things to get in the mail, is stuff i’ve designed, that has hit the streets. here’s some recent stuff i havent had time to take real photos of for the site.
i’m trying to get more frequent with the posts. bear with me over here. i know its a little late, but i hope you all had a good easter.
so i spent this past week away from the normal flow of things, and ducked back into my old office. i used to work for an independent company called Below Zero Designs. still the best job i’ve ever had. one of the guys is on vacation this week, so i stepped in to cover for him. today’s my last day back though. it’s been nice getting to change up styles for a week, but i cant wait to sleep in again haha. be sure to check out their services and excellent work at bzprint.com. here’s a few things i whipped up for them this week…

a couple of weekends ago, my brother had some of pieces at a showing called “Hello My Name Is Chicago.” all chicago-themed work from a handful of artists. the place was packed wall to wall. i snapped a shot of his pieces that were hanging, as well as a small portion of the crowd just to show how packed it was. there was a ton of stuff there, the majority of it being awesome, as opposed to just good.
“come correct” is all paper, “all city” is paper and acrylic
